Transition Task Force
 
In November the Joint Exploration Team was restructured into two bodies, the Transition Task Force and the New Council.
 
Members of the Transition Task Force (TTF) were appointed by their church councils in November. TTF funcions include:
  • Coordinate efforts to celebrate and preserve the history and heritage of the churches.
  • Help the churches roperly deal with memorial gifts.
  • Work with a CPA to identify the financial assets of the churches.
  • Help the churches inventory their furnishings and equipment.
  • Coordinate the transfer of assets to the new congregation.
  • Arrange to preserve, move and store the furnishings and equipment that will be used by the new congregation.
  • Prepare surplus property for sale or other dispositon.
  • Similar tasks related to winding down the current churches and bringing them into the new congregation.
