In Februaridy the New Council appointed Steve Hinderaker, Tim Leighton, Marilyn Peterson, Pastor Craig Pederson and Peter Radford to the Facility Planning Team. Peter Radford is the team chair. Dave Raymond is working with the team.

The Facility Planning Team was formed to develop criteria and explore options for a permanent facility that will serve the ministry and mission of the new congregation.

The Team will present a report, Five Permanent Facility Options, to the members of NECL on Sunday, July 15.

Floor plans of two options, 13th Avenue and Holland School, are available on the Floor Plans page.

At the request of the New Council, the Faciity Team drafted a Permanent Facility Program and Criteria. This describes the size, spaces and features that are desireable in the permanent facility for Northeast Community Lutheran Church. This draft will continue to be refined, and will be presented to the congregation for members' input in June.

Fact Sheets are available describing the Lowry and 13th Avenue buildings in line with the Program and Criteria.

The Facility Planning Team sponsored  "listening sessions" during the soup suppers before the joint Lenten Service on Wednesday, February 28 and Wednesday March 7.  Members were given the opportunity to talk about the type of permanent facility they would like to see the new congregation end up with. A very interesting report on both Listening Sessions is linked below:
