To paraphrase Philippians 1:6, we celebrate "the one who began good works among us and is bring to completion" Emanuel's mission.

HOLY TRIUNE CELEBRATES
FAITHFULNESS TO GOD'S WORK
After one hundred years of faithful service to the northeast Minneapolis community Holy Triune and its predecessor bodies: Concordia, Immanuel and St. Petri churches, Holy Triune is joining forces with St. Pauls and Emanuel to launch a new ministry. In celebration of its mission and ministry the sanctuary was full on April 29 for a Celebration of Thanksgiving. Bishop Craig Johnson brought a greeting and led the Declaration of Closing. Worship was followed by a fellowship time and catered lunch. Memorabilia was on display. Former pastors, interns, sons (unfortunately there are no daughters) of the congregation in the ordained ministry and pastor's families were invited to attend along with former members and current northeast friends.

Sunday, April 22, 2007 - Worship at 10:30 Celebration Sunday
Is your confirmation picture hanging in the fellowship hall? Do you look forward to the smell of sauerkraut each fall? Whatever your connection to St. Paul's, you were invited to celebrate at a special worship service on Sunday April 22. A lunch and reception followed the service, with a special screening of the recently completed Sauerkraut Supper documentary, a 30-minute professionally-produced video celebrating St. Paul's history and tradition. (Orders are being taken for copies of the DVD at St. Paul's office. After April 29 they will be available from the Northeast Community Church office.)
